Evans is the pastor of the more than 27,000-member Bethany Baptist Church and prelate of the Abundant Harvest Fellowship of Churches, which has more than one hundred churches in the United States, as well as churches in Africa and India. Bishop Evans is the founder of a nonprofit community development corporation, Generations, Inc., an HUD Youth Build Partner for South Jersey, chairman of the National Home Owner Initiative, and the founder of Harvest Transitional Homes for Women. In addition, he initiated the South Jersey Foster Care Provider Program. He is the CEO of David G. Evans Ministries, which produces Power of Revelation worldwide, Dominion Radio Ministries, and OnPointe, a live call-in radio talk show (nationwide via satellite). Dare To Be A Man Bishop Evans

I have a better understanding about how a good man in Christ ought to be after viewing this book. A good man must know how to be disciplined. He can be charming, good-looking and fun to be with, but if he doesn't have discipline. He has the potential to disappoint you in the things that really matter in life. He must change his environment, relationships and influences in order to follow the will of God for his life.

Excellent

Bishop Evans has written a book that is an excellent motivation for today's Christian man facing an intentionally demoralizing societal culture. The problem is that non-believers will, of course, criticize the message because of it's Christian basis. He provides personal and current examples of how biblical examples from the past can direct and assist men today. Most importantly, where he writes of putting on his own armor and rescuing one of his flock from a den of evil shows that Bishop Evans not only writes about it, he lives it.

Blessing

This Book was such a blessing to me. While reading it God was able to show me my faults in my relationship and help me realize that yes my fiance may have faults but that doesn't excuse my not obeying God's word. It's a true eye opener and very humbling. I began noticing the little things and now allow Holy Spirit to correct me in all instances. I truly understand now and am very humbled by the truth.
I think for those who are willing to change this will give you a sigh of relief. I think for those who are looking for an excuse and blame their significant other will find this humbling and rewarding. If you truly want something to help your marriage and heal it this would be great to start with.
